“Die Aufwertung bestehender, zumeist in die Jahre gekommener Attraktionen durch eine “erweiterte Realit\u00e4t” ist eines der vielf\u00e4ltigen, spannenden Einsatzfelder f\u00fcr moderne Technologien in Freitzeitanlagen. Soll die Wahrnehmung der realen Welt mit virtuellem Content verschmelzen, sind Mixed Reality-Anwendungen gefragt. Hier k\u00f6nnen Freizeitanlagenbetreiber nun auf ein eigenes f\u00fcr Themenattraktionen entwickeltes System der \u00f6sterreichischen Firmen Realsim<\/em>\u00ae (ein Entwickler von Hologrammtechnologie) und Weigl Control<\/em> zur\u00fcckgreifen, das f\u00fcr die Microsoft<\/em> “HoloLens”-Brille konzipiert wurde.<\/p>\n

Bei der HoloLens handelt es sich um eine Mixed Reality-Brille, die interaktive 3D-Projektionen in der realen Umgebung darstellt (Nutzer sehen durch die “transparente” Brille hindurch die Projektionen im direkten Umfeld, nicht auf einem Display). Das Microsoft-Ger\u00e4t funktioniert ohne Smartphone oder zus\u00e4tzlichen Computer, sondern integriert bereits eine Rechnereinheit. Diese wird \u00fcber Applikationen bespielt (vgl. EAP<\/em> 3\/2019). Eine solche Applikation hat Realsim nun entwickelt, die \u00fcber ein spezielles Protokoll mit den Steuerungseinheiten von Weigl kommuniziert. W\u00e4hrend Besucher, die eine Attraktion mit HoloLens-Brille erleben wollen, 3D-Projetkionen in der realen Umgebung sehen, wird ihre jeweilige Position stetig an die Steuerungseinheiten \u00fcbermittelt. Diese kontrollieren passend zum Mixed Reality-Erlebnis die weiteren Showabl\u00e4ufe, sprich l\u00f6sen Licht- und Audioeffekte, Animatronics und\/oder Videos aus. Das aufeinander abgestimmte Zusammenspiel der Komponenten l\u00e4sst die Grenzen des realen und virtuellen Erlebens verschmelzen und G\u00e4ste somit voll und ganz in die jeweilige Storyline eintauchen.<\/p>\n

Der 3D-Content, den G\u00e4ste \u00fcber die HoloLens-Brillen sehen sollen, ist f\u00fcr die Applikation entsprechend aufzubereiten, kann vom Kunden aber einfach selbst erstellt werden. Auch das Einspielen verschiedener Inhalte ist m\u00f6glich, es k\u00f6nnen z.B. sowohl kindgerechte Inhalte als auch Action-Content f\u00fcr erwachsene Parkbesucher f\u00fcr dieselbe Attraktion angeboten werden. Die Erweiterung einer Attraktion um Mixed Reality-Technologie bietet eine kosteng\u00fcnstige Aufwertung des Erlebnisses und die M\u00f6glichkeit zur saisonalen Thematisierung.” (AS)<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
